To thrive as a Christian, having a supportive community of fellow believers is essential. Regularly engaging with God’s Word and actively sharing Jesus with those around you are also key components. These practices are crucial for deepening your faith, and we offer various opportunities to help you grow in these areas.
Action groups: These are our weekly small groups at uni, where we explore how to live out our faith in practical ways. Together, we dive into the Bible to uncover its guidance on specific aspects of Christian living. Having these discussions with other uni students is incredibly valuable, providing support and encouragement as we navigate the challenges of being university students who love Jesus and want to share him with others.
Talking about faith: At university, you’ll meet people from all walks of life. We’re here to help you learn how to engage in loving and honest conversations about faith. Sharing your faith isn’t about knowing all the answers—it’s about sparking meaningful dialogues that encourage others to explore their beliefs and consider Jesus’ invitation to know him.
Events: We host a variety of events throughout the year, each term featuring a major event: an autumn retreat in term 1, a student conference in term 2, a guys/girls camp in term 3, and summer break opportunities in term 4. Alongside these, we have other formal and informal socials and gatherings. These events are perfect for deepening your understanding of God and strengthening the Student Life community.

Grow is a 5-week conversational resource developed by Student Life. It aims to help believers enjoy spending time with God in the Bible through learning to meditate on God’s Word for ourselves, respond to it in prayer, and put it into practice.
