Despite being from different cultures, different backgrounds and different countries, you make a meaningful connection because you’re talking about deeper things—like God and the gospel.

So, how will you invest your life?
Imagine a world where leaders in every sphere—business, media, government, education—live out their faith in Christ, shaping the future with integrity and purpose. At Student Life, we believe that transforming society begins with transforming students. That’s why we’re dedicated to reaching university students and equipping them to become Christ-centered leaders.
As a Student Life intern, you’ll be at the heart of this mission. Your recent experience as a graduate makes you uniquely positioned to connect with students on campus, guiding them through the journey of discovering Jesus. Through hands-on evangelism and discipleship, you’ll have the chance to make an eternal impact—helping students encounter the life-changing message of Christ.
This isn’t just a one-year commitment; it’s the beginning of a lifetime of influence, whether in ministry or wherever God leads you. By joining our team, you’ll help ensure that every student has the opportunity to say ‘yes’ to Jesus—on every campus, every year. Are you ready to be part of something that can change the world?

Every summer, Nelson beaches are crowded with holiday makers and many of them have never had the opportunity to hear the good news of the gospel before.
At Nelson Beach project we desire for students to grow in faith filled courage and take bold faith steps that will impact them beyond their time at Beachie. We aim to do this through mission opportunities that will challenge each student regardless of where they are at, as well as opportunities to grow in the Word and in intentional fellowship with believers.

Although Taiwan is an open country where the gospel can be shared freely, out of a population of 24 million roughly only 3% is Christian. Jesus is still so unknown here. We want to see that change. So come with us to help make Jesus known to a people that could radically change the rest of Asia.

What is a Summer Project?
A Summer Project is an immersive, life-changing experience where you join a team of passionate staff and students to bring the gospel to communities both near and far. These projects, lasting from two weeks up to a month are a dynamic blend of evangelism, discipleship, and community service. You’ll not only share the hope of Christ with those who may be hearing it for the first time but also receive hands-on training to deepen your own faith and outreach skills. It’s a journey that transforms both the participants and the communities they serve.
Why go on a Summer Project?
It’s a unique opportunity to step out in faith and see God work in powerful ways. It’s more than just a trip; it’s a calling to be a part of something bigger than yourself. You’ll experience the thrill of seeing lives changed as people encounter the gospel, and you’ll grow spiritually as you rely on God in new and profound ways. The relationships you build with your team will be deep and lasting, forged through shared purpose and mission. Plus, you’ll be equipping and empowering local Christians to continue the work long after you leave.
What’s it like on a Summer Project?
A Summer Project is a vibrant, faith-filled adventure where no two days are exactly the same. You’ll spend time on the mission field sharing the gospel, participate in transformative training sessions, and dive deep into the Word in small groups. There’s also plenty of time to relax, have fun, and bond with your team. While some days follow a set schedule, we always remain open to God’s leading, ready to adapt as he guides our steps. The memories you create, the lives you touch, and the faith you build will be unforgettable. It’s an experience that will leave you forever changed.
How is it funded?
Funding a missions trip is different. Unlike a high school trip or personal educational experience, this is God’s mission and God’s people will be sending you through their prayers and financial contributions. Travel, accommodation, food, ministry supplies and activities. The overall cost varies for each Summer Project location and length. By seeking support, you are no longer representing yourself—but the whole body of Christ, his Church, is behind you as you go to the world with his Good News.
